This in-house, one-day course addresses the cause of injuries and deaths from serious falls in the work place. Students will learn about safety regulations and the importance of safety while working at elevation.
The training comprises both hand-on activities and discussion about the frequency of falls from height accidents, to engage students about the importance of safety while working at elevation. Practical exercises include inspecting, fitting, adjusting and connecting fall protection equipment and components.
Designed for and preferred by the Oil and Gas Industry, the up-graded training meets CSA standards, to apply to most jurisdictions in Canada with a few exceptions (Labrador, Newfoundland, Ontario).
After full participation in all exercises and testing, participants with a score of 70% or greater will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
